Irving Stackpole

With over forty years of experience in healthcare, senior living and human services, Irving Stackpole is the President of Stackpole & Associates, Inc., a marketing, research, training, and organizational development firm. Founded in 1991, Stackpole & Associates applies scientific marketing principles to develop practical solutions to clients’ challenges. Using the most rigorous psychological and behavioral science research, Stackpole & Associates develops methods and designs that produce unimpeachable data yielding reliable, actionable recommendations. Stackpole & Associates works collaboratively with clients to create innovative and practical solutions to the challenges facing organizations in rapidly changing markets, including health travel.
Following Stonehill College, Irving began his career as a respiratory therapist at Massachusetts General Hospital where he was a pioneer in field. After working as Vice President of American Medical International (Tenet), one of the largest investor owned hospital groups in the world, and Vice President for the largest home health care company in the US, Irving started Amcare Medical Services, which became the largest medical equipment firm in New England. He established Stackpole & Associates in 1991.
Stackpole & Associates has established itself in the field of health & medical travel working with providers, governments and agencies in many countries, including Costa Rica, Korea, India, Colombia, Poland, Mexico, Cayman, Greece, as well as the UN to define markets, conduct research, develop marketing programs, establish brand identity, and launch marketing efforts to attract international health travelers from around the world. Irving edited Medical Tourism Marketing, co-hosts the podcast, The Medical Travel Show, is widely published, and has been quoted in The Financial Times, Forbes and many trade publications.
